Cameron started racing karts in 2022 and was awarded a Tier 1 rating within six months. His first full year in Auckland brought the Rotax Lights title, the Kartsport Auckland points championship, and a New Zealand drive at the Rotax USA Trophy Final.

Straight out of karts and into the inaugural Bridgestone GR86 Championship with Right Karts by M2 Competition. Tenth overall as a rookie, with a race win, two podiums and a fastest lap. Winning the race and the round at Hampton Downs — Overall and Rookie — was the first series win for the team. Best livery in the championship. A clash at Teretonga then cost him Rookie of the Year and the car for two rounds.

Selected for the NZ Motorsport Elite Academy, finishing second at the 2025 camp week. Back in karts, third in New Zealand in DD2 after a six-month break to learn car racing.

A second GR86 season, still with Right Karts by M2. Eleventh in the championship. At the Taupō finale he started on the front row of the reverse-grid race, led from the lights, and won Race 2 — beating the new champion Chris White to the flag on the last race of the year.
